SSG have a fleet of service vehicles and team of field operatives that we manage remotely. Client requests received by our head office are immediately relayed to our operatives via a Personal Data Assistant (PDA) which they carry with them at all times.
Personal Digital Assistants
All maintenance operatives carry a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and can be issued jobs directly either before leaving home or whilst on site. This allows our operatives to spend more time actually attending to repairs as they have no need to report to the office to receive instructions. The maintenance team vehicles all carry tracker devices, this enables us to quickly identify the location of each vehicle and further identify the vehicle and operative best located to attend to any urgent or emergency call out situation.
As we manufacture many of the components used in our installations (and carry spares for many other manufacturers) we are generally able to source replacement parts very quickly.
Finally, we also provide an online Client Area, via our website. You enter a secure area within the site to view the progress of your job, where we operate a Colour Coded Progress System to assist you further. This is a FREE service and means you don’t have to keep picking up the phone to chase for information.
